Welcome to Club Babalu! Tonight may be Ricky’s big break. With Fred and Et hel brushing off their Vaudeville schtick and a Big Time Producer in the audience, this could lead to the big time – Broadway! As a member of the audience you will get to see the crazy slapstick comedy that everyone has been talking about. But will Lucy’s crazy schemes get in the way of Ricky’s success? Will Fred and Ethel’s constant bickering finally go too far? And who is the new headliner everyone keeps hearing about? When things go awry, Lucy has got some ‘splainin’ to do! Will Ricky’s last words be Lucy…I’m Dead!?

It is a comedy, but still a murder mystery. It is also interactive.
The description of the show:
Welcome to Club Babalu! Tonight may be Ricky’s big break. With Fred and Ethel brushing off their Vaudeville schtick and a Big Time Producer in the audience, this could lead to the big time – Broadway! As a member of the audience you will get to see the crazy slapstick comedy that everyone has been talking about. But will Lucy’s crazy schemes get in the way of Ricky’s success? Will Fred and Ethel’s constant bickering finally go too far? And who is the new headliner everyone keeps hearing about? When things go awry, Lucy has got some ‘splainin’ to do! Will Ricky’s last words be Lucy…I’m Dead!?
- How long is the evening? Usually about 2 hours.
- Are drinks included in the price? No. There is a cash bar.
- What do you mean by interactive? Audience members are asked to participate in a the dance contest. Everything is strictly voluntary. The show is acted out by 5 actors, so audience members are not required to play parts in order to move the action along.
- Do I have to be involved if I don’t want to? Absolutely not. The show is just as enjoyable if you prefer to watch.
- Will we be moving from room to room looking for clues? No, the show all happens in one room.
- What kind of actors are in the production? Professional local actors.
- What is it like? It is a murder mystery comedy. It is a fun evening, more geared toward laughs.
- Is it appropriate for children? While the material is noting you won’t find on prime time television, we usually recommend audience members be age 15 or older. For younger children, it is a long, boring evening – the humor and pacing are definitely geared more to adults.
- Is there a prize? Yes. One prize is awarded for the most correct answer at the end of the night.
